Sketch of a Koala

Koalas have soft, wool-like fur that is gray above and white below. Koalas are rather small, round animals. They weigh about 30 pounds and on average grow to be 2 feet tall. They can be found only in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. Koalas consume eucalyptus leaves and bark from 12 different eucalyptus tree species. They have smiley face and cutest animal. For more info about Koalas Click here.

Recovered Digital Sketches

Today, I found two digital sketches on my gallery which I did about 4 - 5 year ago through an iOS app. I even don't remember the name of that app. Fortunately, I saved these and still with me so I am sharing these with you. I hope you will like it.

Digital Water Colour Painting

Here, I go with my first water color painting through Fresh Paint Windows 8 app. Before starting this painting, I listened to Stanford Steve Jobs Commencement Speech which inspired me to do what I love.
Since, I am very new in digital painting. I tried to paint an eye. The very good thing of the digital paint is that we don't need so worry about the colors.
I am loving this.
I didn't remember to take step by step paints. I was so excited in my each and every step of progress.

I tried to make it more realistic but I am so happy with my self for this work. I will surely do better in my next work.

Learning Digital Arts

Recently, I am interested on digital arts so I downloaded two apps foe Windows 8.1 which helps me in digital painting and sketching. However, I am extremely new in this type of arts and colors and paints. Digital art is really hard for me, since I am familiar with hand art works. I have installed Fresh Paint and Sketch Book Express for learning and enhancing my digital art skill.

Here are some of my painting on ready made drawing of Fresh Paint app.

I first downloaded "Winter Holiday Pack" of Fresh Paint app for the learning purpose. I choose the first draw that is a snowman and a penguin.

Then, I started to paint it on color of my own choice and which fits to the drawing.\

 I learned to use different types of brushes. I have used oil paints of the app for painting this picture.

After finishing the coloring or painting, I removed the outlines and I ended up with this.

And this is also a water color painting done on a  ready made sketch which I tried to paint according to the pictures on the left hand side.

Simple Techniques for Beginners

Here, I have collected some simple techniques of drawing of the human faces and hair which is definitively helpful for the beginners. As we all know, practice makes man perfect, so beginners, have patience and keep drawing.

Drawing

Drawing is simply an art on paper with graphite pencils, inks, colors pencils, crayons, chalk, charcoals, pastels and of course, different kinds of erasers for a good piece of art works. Drawing can be of different objects, portraits, landscapes, and one's ideas, views and opinion, It is one of the way to express one's feelings and opinions through visual arts.

The above picture is a drawn by me when I was about 10 yrs old. There is an owl and a cat in a boat. An owl is playing his guitar and cat is singing song. Its a beautiful night, the moon and his friend star is smiling seeing two friends on boat enjoying them together. I don't remember much but I think, I get this idea from a local newspaper.
